Understanding customer requirements
o Interaction with the IT and Business personnel of the Customer organization
o Documentation of requirements
Requirements analysis & solution design
o Mapping of requirements to Vistaar’s OLAP data model
o Mapping of requirements to solution artefacts
o Documentation of solution design / components
o Design of inbound data integration
Building of a solution around the software product which will involve
o Product installation and configuration
o Creation and management of Vistaar’s multidimensional data model
o Scripting using VB or JavaScript based on design specifications
o Building / configuring the solution front end as per design specifications
o Building of ETL bridges, PL-SQL procedures for data movement/transformation
o Unix shell scripting for process automation
o Testing of the solution
User training
oCreation of user training material
oWalking the user through the solution
