Job Description
Developing schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
Facilitating learning by establishing a relationship with students and by the organization learning resources and the classroom-learning environment.
Developing and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude.
Taking responsibility for the progress of a class.
Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of student's development.
Providing feedback to parents on a student's progress at parents' meetings and other meetings.
Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
Staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
Liaising with colleagues and flexibility.
Working with parents and school board to maximize their involvement in the school and the development of resources for the school.
Ensuring student's growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group and subject area.
All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established as part of the annual performance planning process.

Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
Models professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community.
Good knowledge of CBSE syllabus.
