As a Manager of the NFS Product Team the individual gets the opportunity to lead a group of enthusiastic & bright Prod Mgrs/Technical Marketing team. This challenging position provides leadership and management oversight to one of key product teams at NetApp.
The individual will be responsible for developing roadmap, shorter-term business and key initiative plans to meet aggressive deadlines. An ideal candidate must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships. As a key member of NAS Business Unit leadership team you will be responsible for driving product development as well as partnership strategy.
- Demonstrated Product Management leadership in a large company

- Industry background in infrastructure or storage systems and software and/or data manageability sw.

Essential Functions:
- In this role the individual is expected to lead a team of NASBU PM and TMEs, and collaborate with cross-functional and highly co-dependent teams for developing product and solution requirements, successful delivery of complete storage solutions for targeted use cases.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with the peer managers in sales and with the business development team.
- Communicate Corporate strategy to employees within your function.
- Plan and direct activities including product roadmap planning, product communications, solution delivery, ecosystem relationship development, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish short-term and long-term goals and performance metrics in line with corporate objectives.
- Develop budgets for approval and assure adherence once budget is approved.
- Review management plans with Executive Management on a regular basis.
- Act as coach, mentor and educator to the team
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Assume responsibility for result, including costs, methods and staffing.
