As a Software Engineering Trainer, you will offer your expertise to research, develop and deliver learning solutions for internal product development engineers. You will also collaborate with your team and the engineering community to define best practices and workflow for a knowledge platform that will help increase the efficiency and productivity of the engineering community. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your get things done attitude to directly impact the professional development of those who are responsible for bringing innovative NetApp products to market.
Essential Functions :
1.Work with NetApps world-wide Product Development audience to assess skills required to successfully lead the development of NetApp products
2. Train Engineers in the use of Engineering Dev/QA tools and processes.
3.Design, develop and deliver appropriate learning solutions for delivery through classroom and numerous alternative learning technologies
4.Apply formal marketing and communication strategy to maintain visibility of the learning solutions and accelerate skills transfer within the target audience
5.Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions and modify/adapt solutions as necessary
6.Manage assessment/development projects to achieve desired results within schedule and budget expectations
Desired Profile:-
1.8-10 years of professional work experience in software development and/or quality engineering
2. Experience in software testing, documentation and process improvement.
3.Demonstrated ability to build and manage collaborative partner relationships with technical organizations
4.Extremely strong presentation and facilitation skills
5.Experience teaching technical courses in the classroom a plus
Education and Experience A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required
