NetApp University is a fast-paced organization in NetApp that aims to create learning products for employees, customers, and partners. As a part of NetApp University, you will design and create learning products/solutions for both technical and non-technical skills.

As the Manager for a team of course developers located at NetApps Bangalore site, you direct the activities of customer and/or employee training in the operation of company products. You provide management oversight to ensure that training programs delivered meet the identified learning objectives. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong project management, relationship building, and specific subject matter skills. You will need to have a strong technical understanding of NetApp s hardware and software and related technologies as well as a detailed understanding of instructional design and development.
Note that this position MUST reside directly at the Bangalore site.
Essential Functions:
Lead the design and development of technical training programs that support the sales and support of NetApp products. Training programs include both customer training and NetApp field /partner training.
Effectively manage the performance of the Bangalore development team.
Ensure training programs meet learning objectives.
Assess training deliverables and provide feedback to content developers.
Develop and implement process/methodology improvement projects for the department.
Desired Profile:-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A clear understanding of the training development process, instructional design and project management.
A strong understanding of information systems, networking, and storage technology is required. In-depth knowledge of NetApps products and technologies is desired.
A proven track record of surpassing objectives and delivering exceptional results.
Education and Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor and a minimum of 5 years as a people manager is required.
A Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree is required; a Masters Degree is desired.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple critical projects is required.
A strong background in the design and development of technical product training is required
